GAZETTEER · THE NORTHERN REACH
The Marrow-Hollow
A tribal death-house cut into a granite ridge above the Karth gorge, sealed by the Bonesung and left to barrow wights — the Broken Lances have been told there is silver inside.
The tribes shaped this cut-stone hall for their dead before they learned silence, and the sealing is old and deliberate: a wedge of rock, a painted mark, and the understanding that the wights here are not enemies but guards. When a Broken Lances digging crew went in with what they claimed was a real contract, the escort came out alone and the diggers did not. The silver may be real. The wights certainly are.
