GAZETTEER · THE TIDEWRACK NARROWS
The Net-Cave
A shallow dune tide-cave the wreckers use to stash salvage and dry nets — the Narrows' starter delve, mostly dry, home to mudreavers and silt crabs.
It barely rates the name: a broad low cavity in the dune-face that the sea cut and abandoned when the sand shifted. The wreckers hang their nets here and leave things that will not fetch coin yet. Mudreavers have taken the inner recesses, and the silt crabs argue over the leavings at the entrance. The Beaconward points the desperate at it first, and they emerge alive, which is the point.
