GAZETTEER · THE MIRRENMERE
The Tidewrack Sink
aka the drowned temple, the tide-sink
A drowned tide-temple sink the Ashen Temple's drowned still keep, flooding with the tide.
Below the leaning beacon at Gull's Watch, where the Mirrenmere drains to the open Pacific, an older Temple sank a shrine into the narrows long before the Ashen orthodoxy. The sea took it. Twice a day the tide pours through its drowned halls and pulls back out, and between the waters the drowned still keep their stations — sailors and acolytes salt-logged and faithful, tending an altar no living curate dares reconsecrate.
