Pinewatch Camp

aka the runners' cold camp, pinewatch

A relic-runners' cold camp under the boreal canopy, watching the column-fields for what the College's diggers leave behind.

A handful of hide tents and a banked fire in a hollow of old pines, kept by relic-runners who work the Imperium ruins below Caer Vallen. They watch the diggers, trade in fallen Old Work workings and cold-country furs, and ask no names. It is not a friendly camp, but it is a warm one, and on the Rampart's shoulder that is worth more than friendliness.
