The Cairn-Shrine of the Watcher
aka Velthi's cairn, the ash-charm stone
Sister Velthi's lone Ashen Temple cairn on the seat-approach, hung with ash-charms and marked with the Temple's warning: the seat is Temple ground and the dead are not yours to lift.
A shoulder-high heap of flat granite, each stone placed by Velthi herself over three winters, hung with charred charm-tokens on copper wire. She is the only one who maintains it; the runners walk past it every morning and leave it alone because Velthi is the only medic north of Pinewatch.
