Sela's Stall
aka the diver's stall
A waterside plank stall under the Underbridge pilings where a Hessk diver sells what the flooded understructure gives up — deep-lungs, salvage, and the occasional true thing nobody upstairs would believe.
Sela Reeth works the flooded footings under the span the way a farmer works a field: methodically, every season, and never with the expectation of a windfall. Most days it's waterlogged coin and Old Work scrap not worth the climb up to the Kilns. She sells deep-lungs she boils and stitches herself, cold-weather trade she picks up off other divers, and gives free advice to anyone about to try the water who clearly shouldn't. She keeps one shelf, unlabeled, for things she found and hasn't decided whether to mention to anyone yet.
