House Vandahl's flooded silver gallery south of Valenfeld, abandoned after the spring broke through an old muster pit and its dead companies stood up together.

The Weeping Adit was House Vandahl's last working silver gallery until the spring found more than rotten props. A flooded wall gave way into an older muster pit, packed with the bones of conscripts whose duty was never formally closed. Durgal Quarn got his crew out; the dead followed as far as the chalk waterline, then turned back in ranks. The ore and an Old Work survey instrument remain below. To reopen the mine, someone must push through a great many brittle soldiers before the next rise of water scatters them into every side cut.
