THE LEDGER
The Greatwood
The Greenwake's forest, one edge west of the Vale by the Vellen Gorge — old-growth country where druids, rangers, and beast-hunters keep an uneasy truce with the wild things the wood has started keeping too well.
Canopy-dark and root-tangled, the Greatwood is the Greenwake's country: the guild hall the doc calls out as the one faction seat that sits a zone away from Highbridge rather than inside it. The Cullers hunt what the forest maddens; the Rootbound argue the forest should be left to heal itself, even where it has gone grey and wrong at the Greywood's edge.

DANGER REASON
Deep old forest kept by the Greenwake; danger comes from what the wood itself has gone wrong with (the Greywood blight), not from any hostile power.
