The Drowned Chapel of Vael
A Vallen Imperium roadside shrine the bog-tarn swallowed whole — a sunken nave of brine wights under black water, and somewhere beneath them a working that may still glow.
When the ridge dammed the snowmelt, the chapel went under slowly enough that someone almost saved the altar piece. The water is cold, dark, and home to brine wights that drift like vestments in a slow current. A College digger swears the Sundering left one working active inside — an intact relic of the Imperium, still pulsing warm under the flood. Everything the Resonants and the Listening College want, and everything the Drowned would call desecration.
