GAZETTEER · THE SERED SPUR
The Shut Reliquary
A sealed Imperium bronze chamber walled inside one of Castle Sered's closed wings — the first Vandahls built their castle over an Old Work vault and bricked it up, and its workings still pulse.
Somewhere behind the shut hall's farthest door, beneath the banners and the boarded windows, is a room the house does not acknowledge. The first Vandahls found the Imperium's bronze chamber already here when they raised the castle; they bricked it into the foundation and declared it a cellar. The workings inside have never stopped pulsing. The Sundering fault runs straight through the dais. Lord Vandahl does not know it is there — or pretends not to — while the Silt Hands fence and the Resonants both want a key.
