BESTIARY · THE TIDEWRACK NARROWS
Mudreavear
The beach's tier-2 scavenger — a low-slung, gill-breathing pack hunter that works the tide-line and the coves, snapping up anything stranded by the ebb.
It breathes water or mud with equal ease and regards the tide-line as its market. A mudreavear will follow the ebb out across the exposed flat, flip over every stone the water uncovered, and be gone before the flood returns — and it is fast enough that most of what it chases does not make it back either. They run in loose groups of three or four, loose enough to look like individuals until they don't.
