Rime Stalker

The cliff-stalker's white cousin of the high pass — patient, frost-furred, and the reason the Karth road is run by day and in numbers.

It does not hunt the cold; the cold is where its hunting is easiest. A stalker waits above the ford for the road to thin to one. House Vandahl's northern garrison keeps a standing reward for a pelt and rarely pays it.
