The Korl Greatblade
aka the grave-iron, the lance-barrow blade
An oversized Korl iron greatsword from the Lance-Barrow grave-goods — five hundred years old, unrusted, heavier than anything its shape should weigh, and wanted by the Marrow Lances for a Vale contract.
The blade is broad enough to be mistaken for a door. It is cold to the touch even in summer, and the iron has a dark, close grain the Vallen Imperium metalworkers never matched. The Marrow Lances want it for a contract they will not name. The living Korl at Pinewatch call taking it from the barrow grave-robbery, and have said so clearly.
