Reaverfall
A broad reaver's axe forged in the working galleries of the Bronze Cairn, where the Deepclan Reavers feed an Imperium barrow's grave-goods into their crucibles one age at a time — this one they kept instead of melting, because it came out of the forge better than anything they'd put in.
The Bronze Cairn was a great Imperium barrow before the Deepclan Reavers hollowed it from the inside to get at the bronze, and the deeper galleries have run as a working forge ever since — the honoured dead heaved aside, their grave-goods going one crucible at a time into reaver-steel. Most of what comes out is unremarkable trade iron. Reaverfall is the exception a smith keeps and doesn't explain: a wide, single-bitted axe that came out of the melt of a dozen older blades holding an edge no single one of them held alone, as if the barrow's dead had opinions about how their bronze should be spent. The Reavers who forged it won't sell it and can't say why they haven't melted it back down like everything else.
