Reshi the Dry's hand-scratched clay tile showing which pans are salt-crust, which are brine-sinks, where the good wells run, and which ones are poisoned.
A fired-clay tile the size of a palm, marked in the Reshi's own notation — crosses for the brine-sinks, circles for the good wells, a scratch through the fouled ones. It is a crossing in your pocket: with it, the flats read honestly for the first time. Reshi the Dry keeps three copies in different cache spots, which tells you something about how often she loses clients.
