The Reshi Ossuary

A rib-cut road-tomb where the Reshi caravan-folk have laid their road-dead for generations — a dry salt-barrow that preserves everything the crossing killed.

Cut into the north face of a long rock-rib, the Ossuary is lined with niches holding every drover who died on the southern crossing: road-beads, copper, salted offerings. The salt cures rather than rots, so the dead here look as if they paused mid-journey. The Reshi tend it; the ancestor-shades wake if the offerings lapse, and Veshti Goldeye keeps a count of who has visited uninvited.
