The Orrery Drift

The mid-distance drift of isles beyond the Cloudmarch Shelves, named for the Severed Orrery — a shattered star-model said to still turn, alone, over one of its groves.

Past the Cloudmarch Shelves the isles start to drift rather than hold station, and somewhere among them turns the Severed Orrery: a broken astronomer's model the Vyr never fully explain, cut loose from Aelvyrenn generations ago and never recovered. The Choir's writ thins to a rumor out here.
