The Longroad Dunes

The deep desert past the Silkstrand, where caravan roads run thin and the Reshi Marauders — road-reavers turned against their own people — strike from the dunes and are gone before the dust settles.

The Dunes are what's left when the Silkstrand's caravan roads run out: sand, heat, and the Reshi Marauders, caravan-folk turned road-reavers who know exactly which routes still carry worthwhile cargo, because they used to ride them honestly.
