The Wayfarer's Ledger · SETTLEMENT
Chapter 124
Hollowfold

The only living settlement on the Sered Spur — a small grazing-village of dry-stone steadings huddled in the largest sheltered hollow below Vandahl Keep, threadbare and proud, paying tithe-silver the house can barely protect them for.
Hollowfold is a shepherds' hollow more than a town: a green ringed by dry-stone steadings, a single ancestor-shrine to the Vandahl line, and an inn that doubles as the tithing hall. The traveller's one bed, fire, and warning before the climb to the castle. Marrek the Wallwright works out of here when he works at all; Veya the Tinner runs her fence through the inn's back room. The Mourners of the Hush bless the Sheepwright Cairns on the commons above, which the house officially ignores.
