The Sered Catacombs

Undercrofts beneath Castle Sered where House Vandahl lays its dead — and not all of them rest.

Under the bare crag of Castle Sered, House Vandahl cut its undercrofts generation by generation, ranking ancestors in cold stone niches the higher the bloodline. The upper crypts are still tended for show; the lower halls have been shut for a hundred years, and the things sealed behind their doors have not stayed quiet. The house will not speak of why three-quarters of the castle stands closed.
