Ancestor Shade

A mournful tribal ghost bound to the Hollowing Oak, calm so long as the offerings are kept and grieving-violent when they are not.

Not every ancestor goes quiet into the Ash-Return. Some stay in the oak, thin as smoke, remembering. The gravesinger keeps them with charms and names. An outlander who takes from the oak meets them un-calmed.
