The Skycairn

The sealed grave-hall at the true summit of The Frostcrown — Korgath Sky-Reckoner's tomb, the highest Korl burial known, and the only one whose wight-lord has never been put down twice.

Korgath led the one Korl climb ever made to the true top of the mountain, and did not come down. His kin sealed him there with the same drystone hand that raised the Wightcairn and the Lance-Barrow, cutting a small hall into the summit rock and burying him with everything he carried up — which, by Korl custom, is exactly what stays buried until a living Korl says otherwise. No living Korl has climbed high enough since to say otherwise. He rises the way their dead rise in the high passes, and there is no one left to remind him he's finished climbing.
