Sella Woolmark

A farmer's daughter on the Highbridge road whose brother Tam went down into the Sunk Granary after Old Work bronze a week and a half ago and hasn't come back — she wants him found and, if it's not too much on top of that, the coin he went down for.

Sella runs the family plot alone since her knee went bad, which is the only reason Tam went down the sinkhole instead of her. She checks the rope at the granary mouth every morning out of a habit she knows is pointless — a taut rope means nothing came up, a slack one would mean something worse. She is not the type to soften what she's asking for: find her brother, and if there's coin to be had for the trouble, she won't turn it down, because the croft doesn't run on good wishes.
