Keeps the Stillwater Order's undercroft cloister in the Underbridge, where he teaches panicking swimmers how to breathe before he teaches them anything else.

Arnu came to the Order after nearly drowning as a boy in the Underbridge floodways, and the discipline he actually practices, day to day, is less about renouncing want than about talking frightened divers and dock-children through the moment right before panic sets in. He's calm in a way that's clearly been built rather than born, brick by brick, out of the same fear he now talks other people down from. The cloister asks for nothing and gets by on what the quarter can spare, which is usually just enough.
