The Wandering Cups — in-engine capture

THE POWERS · THE VALE

The Wandering Cups

The Stillwater Order's mendicant monks who walk the Vale's roads with empty bowls — begging, teaching the empty hand, and carrying the Order's quiet into a loud world.

Not every Stillwater monk stays at the tarn. The Wandering Cups take the discipline on the road, owning nothing, sleeping at wayshrines, and trading a lesson in the empty hand for a meal. They are the Order's eyes and its conscience-on-foot — the monks most likely to walk up to a Hollow Writ magistrate or a Gaunt Ledger factor and tell them, mildly, exactly what they are. Brother Wick is the one most travelers in the Vale have actually met.
