The Stoneborn clan-house that stayed loyal to the Stonewright Moot's craft-law when the Deepclan Reavers broke from it and turned to grave-robbing the dead Imperium's barrows.
When the clans that became the Deepclan Reavers were cast out of the Stonewright Moot's fellowship for quarrying barrows the Moot had sworn to leave sealed, House Deepvein was the clan that pressed hardest for the exile — and has spent every year since proving it was right to. The house holds the deepest LEGAL galleries under the Northern Rampart, worked bronze and resonite by the old rules, and sits close enough to the Moot's own authority that its word carries in disputes the guild-masters would rather not adjudicate themselves. The Reavers call them cowards who quarry only what they're told they may. House Deepvein calls that the whole difference between a clan and a warband.
