THE POWERS · THE VALE
The Divers
The Finders' tomb-robbing cell — the crew that ropes down into the barrows, strips the burial goods, and hauls the take up to be fenced for coin.
The Divers are the muscle and nerve of the Finders: the ones who actually go underground. They rig the lines, crack the burial vaults, and come back up with whatever the barrow held — old plate, coin, jewelry, and the odd chunk of Old Work bronze that pays out well to the right buyer. The wights in the lower reaches don't care who you are, so the work is split-shares and short tempers: every haul gets weighed, fenced through Keth Saltrunner, and divided, and every diver watches the count. Lately some of them have stopped trusting the count — too much of the best loot goes to the Ledger before the shares are cut, and a crew that risks its necks underground tends to notice when it's being skimmed.

RELIC STANCE
Old relics and Old Work bronze are just the heaviest-paying loot in the barrow — dig it up, fence it, split the coin. Nothing down there is sacred; it's all weight to be carried out and sold.
