Scorched Shade
An undead remnant of whatever died on the Lava Shore during the Sundering — moves through smoke and is made of it, thickest where the lava meets the sea.
Half-visible even in clear air; in the boiling fog of the Lava Shore it is almost nothing. Attacks by drawing heat out of what it touches rather than striking. Cold iron and sharp attention are both required; it dissipates if you hold it in open wind.
